Here is a fat sow we caught and released on Dec 20. We had hunted most of the day, had caught two young hogs and a small pig with Monkey. That afternoon I turned My young male Spur out, and had my Red female on a leash while walking down a woods road. I left Monkey in the truck. We hadn't gone too far when Spur pulled out and bayed about 150-200 yards off the road. Turned my Red female loose to go to him and when she got there she caught the hog in the sawgrass. Turned out to be a big sow, which is good, as Red never barked. We took her out, took a few pics and turned her loose. She was very pregnant, hopefully she will have a bunch of pigs for us to hunt next year!
