Solo Gulf Hammock Hunt

I loaded my Monkey and Spur dogs and went for a hunt by myself. I drove an hour to the woods, unloaded the 4 wheeler and went to a spot that normally holds hogs.With all the deer dogs running you never know though...
I walked into a block and the dogs would leave then check back in. They finally left and it wasn't long until I heard a few barks, then a running fight, then a bay. I hurried that way and they had the hog caught in a pond. As soon as the hog saw me, it threw the dogs off and ran. It made it about 50 yards and the dogs had it caught. It was a big sow and when I ran it to leg her, she was trying her best to catch me! I tied her and then realized I was 1/2 mile from the 4 wheeler , with a hog that weighs almost as much as I do, alive, and two dogs ......not good.
